Slip, Trip and Fall
Injuries resulting from slips, trips and falls are very common and arise in many situations, whether it is at your work place, a restaurant, or just as youre walking along the road.
If you were injured in a road traffic accident as a result of the negligence of another party you are likely to be legally entitled to compensation. This would apply whether you were the driver, a passenger or a pedestrian.
Although initially the claim would be made against the negligent motorist, it would be handled by their Insurance Company who would negotiate the claim with us and pay any damages/costs which are agreed or awarded.
It may also be possible to pursue a claim where the negligent motorist is either uninsured or cannot be traced (see Motor Insurers Bureau).

CLAIMS PROCESS
Step one
Client suffers an accident
The client contacts TMS Ltd; we will note down the accident circumstances and explain to them our standard procedures.
Step 2
After setting up an initial claim, one our accident assessors will try to attend the scene of the accident. If required, our assessor will arrange to have the vehicle recovered, to our safe and secure storage, at no cost to you.
We will also provide you with a replacement vehicle usually within 24 hours of the accident.
Step 3
We will contact the third partys insurers, and provide them with our allegations; this will enable them to set up a claim on their side.
Step 4
Once the claim has been reviewed by the third party, normally within 2 weeks, a decision will be made in regards to liability, sometimes this may take longer, depending on the actual third party company.
Step 5
Once liability has been established, the third party company will issue a cheque for either the pre accident value of the vehicle or for the repairs of the vehicle.
Step 6
Our solicitors will now arrange for you a medical appointment, with a specialist insurance medical doctor, who will produce a report based on your injuries. This report will then be forwarded onto the third partys insurers, who will usually within 21 days, make an offer in respect to the medical report.
Step 7
You receive the cheque for your personal injury claim your claim now settled!
